Nagesh Kukunoor likes being in charge, so much so that the director got rid of the cable at his home two-and-a-half years back because he "couldn't control what was on TV. I believe anything must either be informative or entertaining…but most of the stuff on cable is neither," he says. So now, his evenings are spent "having an evening coffee with a close friend, a tradition that started in Hyderabad, which I have carried on to Mumbai."
