Striptease
Most of us associate this dance form with the 1996 erotic comedy film starring Demi Moore, Burt Reynolds, and Ving Rhames. The movie was a big hit ans so is this dance form, since ages. It’s a sensual exotic dance in which the performer gradually undresses, in a seductive and sexually suggestive manner. Stripteases are mostly performed in strip clubs and (especially in the UK) pubs, though theaters and music halls have also been used as venues.
Pole dancing
Exotic, sensual, seductive…pole dancing is a combination of all three. It’s a routine in strip clubs and gentlemen’s clubs. When combined with lap-dancing it has the potential to make the very knees supporting the dancer go weak. If you thought that this makes pole-dancing the exclusive domain of the strippers alone, you are wrong. Pole dancing isn’t just for strippers anymore! If you’re looking for a good workout, something that makes you feel sexy, Pole dancing is the way to go!
Belly dancing
The word itself paints a picture of scantily-clad woman shimmying her hips. Most of us associate belly dancing with the Arab world. Although it is said to have originated there, but the gyrations of this exotic dance form are now being felt all over the world. The 3 most common belly dance styles include Egyptain, Arabic, Turkish, or modern fusion/world. Egyptian belly dance with its snake arms move and the Lebanese one with elegant thrusts are considered the most exotic.
Salsa
Just the name of this dance sounds sexy – and sexy it is. No one really knows who invented this dance, some say it was the Cubans, others say the Puerto Ricans, but the fact is that whoever contributed to the great history of Salsa did something unparalled for the source of joy that dancing gives. Salsa is similar to Mambo in that both have a pattern of six steps danced over eight counts of music. In Salsa, turns are an important feature, so the overall look and feel are hot.
Tango
Tango originated in Spain or possibly Morocco. This dance is sexy and one of the most fascinating of all the dance forms. The Tango has many variations and styles, main ones being – Argentine, French, Gaucho and International. The Americanized version is a combination of the best parts of each. The principals involved are the same as for any good dancing. Most Tango music is phrased to 16 or 32 beats of music and the dance moves must be comfortable and pleasing.
